NATIONAL PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
Education in Malaysia is an on-going effort towards developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner, so as to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically balanced and harmonies based on a firm belief in and devotion to God. Such an effort is designed to produce Malaysian citizens who are knowledgeable and competent, who posses high moral standards and who are responsible and capable of achieving a high level of personal well being as well as being able to contribute to the harmony and betterment of the family, society and the nation at large.
NATIONAL SCIENCE EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY
In consonance with the National Education Philosophy,
science education in Malaysia nurtures
a Science and Technology Culture by focusing
on the development of individuals who are competitive,
dynamic, robust and resilient and able
to master scientific knowledge and technological competency.
My Goal In Life..
Since i was in primary school, i really want to be a teacher. Now, i am studying at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in Chemistry Education course. I took Chemistry as my major subject and Mathematics as my minor subject. I have a goal in my life and i tried to achieve it as i can. My goal is to be an excellent student which can score well in all my subjects especially in Chemistry. The important thing is i want to make my parents proud with me so that i can repay all their kindness because they had gave a high education and fully support to me for all the time. If my goal is achieved, i can become a good teacher who can educate all pupils in my own country very well.
TEACHING GOALS
After my postgraduate study, i will become a Chemistry teacher. I hope I will get more opportunity to become a teacher. I am very interested in this career so i hope i can be a dedicated teacher to give a good education to all of my students. I must improve my teaching skills and tried to be a good role model to all my pupils. As a teacher, students is my priority and i will carry out my responsibilities in order to produce students who enable to think creatively and smart. I will help my students to explore and develop their various skills into good use.I need to identify all potency in each student i meet. So, they will be able to know their ability in learning.

F.I.L.A CHART
What is "FILA CHART"???
At first, i do not know ANYTHING about the FILA CHART...But, when my lecturer explained to me about it, i became more understand about it. Since it is my first time to do this FILA CHART, to me, it is an interesting knowledge to be learned actually.
What's the meaning of FILA CHART????
F : Facts
I : Ideas
L : Learning Outcomes
A : Actions
Using this FILA chart, we can list the facts, ideas, learning outcomes and also action.
Facts are the sentences in the text of problem in a given situations.
Ideas are the issues and the cause of the problem.
Learning outcomes are the way to overcome the problem.
Actions are the step taken to solve the problem.
Example of FILA Chart:
Problem Scenario 1:
Rosa is a was chose to attend a workshop on Teaching & Learning organised by the district education department. In the workshop, she was exposed to many thing such as learning theories, teaching methods, classroom management and assessment process. At the end of the workshop, each participant needs to deliver a talk according to particular topic given randomly to them. The topic given to Rosa is Smart School. As a curriculum officer how would you help Rosa?

Facts | Ideas | Learning Outcomes | Action |
Rosa is a new teacher | Rosa lack of knowledge and information about the Smart School | What is a smart school? | Malaysian education system which learning institution which reconstruct systematically teaching-learning and school management in order to prepared children for Information Age. |
Chose to attend a workshop on Learning & Teaching organise by the district education department | Rosa do not have any experience teaching at the Smart school. | How is smart school differed from normal nation school? | Different in process of curriculum,pedagogy,assessment,teaching-learning material and school management in order to prepare student for Information Age. |
In workshop, she was exposed many things such as learning theories, teaching methods, classroom management and assessment process | Rosa do not know the different between the Smart School and another school | What are the goals and objective of the smart school? | Contain five important agenda that need to be fulfil which is provide all-round development of the individual (intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual),provide opportunities to enhance individual strengths and abilities, produce a thinking and technology literate workforce, democratise education and increase participation of stakeholders. |
Rosa need to deliver a talk about Smart School | Rosa lack of confident to deliver a talk | Discuss the roles played by the teacher ,students and parent in order to achieve the goals and the objectives of smart school? | Teachers, students and parents participation with full commitment are the major factor to fulfil the goals and objective. |
Rosa did not know how to deliver a talk very well and to how to share it with other participants | What are the knowledge and skills of a teacher in the new millennium,so as to play an effective role in smart school education? | A teacher in the millennium should have the knowledge of design instruction in order to give more efficient in the learning process. | |
What are the impacts of technology change in Malaysian Smart School due to the change of the era of information and technology? | It can be proven by the existence of Multimedia Super Corridor and the smart school project by the ministry of education. |

PERIODIC TABLE.....
The periodic table is a chart that includes all of the natural and artificial elements known in the universe. Elements are basic building blocks of matter.

ATOM...
The atom is a basic unit of matter that consists of a dense central nucleus surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons. The atomic nucleus contains a mix of positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons (except in the case of hydrogen-1, which is the only stable nuclide with no neutrons). The electrons of an atom are bound to the nucleus by the electromagnetic force.

what is chemistry???
Chemistry is the science of matter, especially its chemical reactions, but also its composition, structure and properties. Chemistry is concerned with atoms and their interactions with other atoms, and particularly with the properties of chemical bonds.
Chemistry is sometimes called "the central science" because it connects physics with other natural sciences such as biology and geology. Chemistry is a branch of physical science but distinct from physics.

electrolysis of water
Electrolysis of water is the decomposition of water into oxygen and hydrogen gas due to an electric current being passed through the water.
An electrical power source is connected to two electrodes, or two plates (typically made from some inert metal such as platinum or stainless steel) which are placed in the water. Hydrogen will appear at the cathode (the negatively charged electrode, where electrons enter the water), and oxygen will appear at the anode (the positively charged electrode). Assuming ideal faradaic efficiency, the amount of hydrogen generated is twice the number of moles of oxygen, and both are proportional to the total electrical charge conducted by the solution. However, in many cells competing side reactions dominate, resulting in different products and less than ideal faradaic efficiency.
Electrolysis of pure water requires excess energy in the form of overpotential to overcome various activation barriers. Without the excess energy the electrolysis of pure water occurs very slowly or not at all. This is in part due to the limited self-ionization of water. Pure water has an electrical conductivity about one millionth that of seawater. Many electrolytic cells may also lack the requisite electrocatalysts. The efficiency of electrolysis is increased through the addition of an electrolyte (such as a salt, an acid or a base) and the use of electrocatalysts.
